What we can do for you

Project Location Targeting

National entities will need to focus their future growth areas depending on available funding. This funding varies significantly by individual states’ CWSRF restrictions and other similar co-funding including state and federal grants. Some states may have more active nonprofits that will have an interest in partnering. This service would complete an analysis of project elements and co-benefits, provide complete recommendations of available funding sources.

Stacked Financing Opportunities and Coordination

A strength of WR, LLC is effective funding coordination. Often specific funding avenues are available for a mission focused need such as habitat protection, water quality, soil health, or climate change resiliency. Bringing together these different needs, which often have their own individual funding sources, is a way to lessen the risk and buy-in cost for all involved and to leverage a larger and more successful project. This is a service that this company can bring to partners.

SRF Specific Financing Options

The CW and DW SRFs are the primary national infrastructure funders. Access to those unfamiliar with the SRFs can be precarious and states themselves may not have the capacity to develop innovative financing mechanisms through the SRFs. WR LLC can work with an identified state’s SRF to develop a financing mechanism and assist navigation of barriers. It should be noted that each state has its own restrictions and requirements for SRF and WR LLC will always provide an individual review to determine feasibility.

Strategic Planning for Stimulus Funding

In the upcoming ten years, the states are expected to receive billions in these funds. Entities that wish to participate in infrastructure projects with these funds, should strategically plan how to do so. WR, LLC can align the client’s desired project types with the funding eligibility in the desired geographic location. Designing requests that minimize government staff resources while maximizing water quality benefits have the greatest chance at being funded. This offering can also include coordination with these governmental entities to gain consensus.
